Our Programs
At destiny Gates Foundation we work with international participants who come to our community (Gatanga - Kenya) to engage in our programs. We provide a cultural immersion experience for our participants through Education, Agriculture, Medical and Women Empowerment programs here in the central part of Kenya (Gatanga Village) and in the Maasai Mara.

We do not exploit these communities or the staff, we support them in return for all the hard work they pour into each and every participant. This is where we live and we do what we love.

Gatanga Village
Dive into the special spirit of a small village in the central part of Kenya.
Programs available:
Kindergarten
This opportunity of a lifetime will allow you to be fully immersed in the local Kenyan culture and to share in a cultural exchange with Kindergarten students (aged 4-6) and teachers in this close-knit community school.
Teaching
Teach and Learn. Thanks to participants like you, primary school students who had never had the chance to interact with foreigners before, are now meeting and learning about other cultures, in their own school setting
Special Education
This program supports school children who have special needs, to provide added access to resources, facilities, and educational opportunities. One will be working with kids from different age groups and different levels of ability, to provide appropriate activities that aim to increase their level of interaction, knowledge, and confidence.
Women Empowerment
You will immerse yourself in a culture like no other, while sharing your knowledge with the local women to help them become more independent and proactive in their own future endeavors
Agriculture
This program will ensure one experience local Kenyan agricultural practices, assist the local farming community by providing extra hands and effort and also experience cultural immersion and engagement with the local community.
Medical Care
Our Medical program is aimed at participants with a medical background. Based on your level of skill and ability, you will be given a variety of tasks to help out in a local Kenyan medical center or hospital, serving those with limited access to affordable quality health care
Community Culture Experience
Learn about Kenyan culture, try your hand at preparing local dishes, practice Swahili, meet village locals and discover wonderful natural surroundings! Through visits to local attractions, interactions with the villagers and our cultural training sessions such as basic Swahili and cooking classes, you will start experiencing Kenya as it should be! It is a great way to get acquainted with your new surroundings and gain a true appreciation for this amazing country.
Massai Mara
Collect unique moments in the Massai Mara, a popular spot of the African savannah.
Programs available:
School Assistance
You will assist in classes of English, Math, Social Studies, etc. or even with Sports Coaching, at an amazing school that is providing quality education to students living in the Maasai Mara. You may be lucky enough to see wildlife in the distance and you can visit an amazing national park with the Big 5, that is just minutes away on the weekends.
Medical Care
Our Medical program is well-suited for participants with a medical background. Based on your level of skill and ability, you will be given a variety of tasks to help out in a local facility, serving those in a rural Maasai community with very limited access to affordable quality healthcare.
Women Empowerment
Join Maasai village mothers and grandmothers as they pave the way, one bead at a time, for the next generation of girls who want to have opportunities besides marriage and motherhood at a young age. Enhance the collective resolution to reduce poverty, hunger and educational disparities for women and girls with your expertise and hard work!
