We are happy to give you some insights in the volunteer program of 
Destiny Gates Foundation in Kenya. 

Let´s  learn plenty of things from each other and grow togehter. 
United we can create a sustainable  and more equal future.

Kindergarten

Participants work with children between the age bracket of 4-5 years and their teachers. They provide creative and fun activities to the kids. 

Teaching

Participants work with older children in the age bracket of 6-14 years. They also work closely with the teachers in providing creative activities and lesson planning. 

Special Education

Participants work with children with special needs. They guide them in learning different skills that help them cope better with life.

Women Empowerment

Participants work with women and girls in the schools and participate in projects, women are involved in. They provide mentorship programs for these girls at school. 

Agriculture

Participants work closely with local farmers in the community.
They participate in picking coffee, plucking tea, kitchen gardening
and taking care of livestock.

Medical Care

Participants who are either doctors, nurses or medical students work closely with doctors and nurses at the local Hospital.

At Destiny Gates foundation we aim to provide community engagement and 
cultural immersion experiences for the positive growth and development for all involved.
We are committed community members, some teachers, farmers, and currently
 community organizers who have been successfully welcoming international 
participants from all over the world to our programs and making them feel at home.

Destiny Gates Foundation is a small project, founded by Emmah Wangari Mburu.
She is graduated with Bachelors degree in Early childhood Education, a team leader,
good communicator and a hard-working person. This enables her

to be a  good teacher and a great community worker. 


Emmah has worked with the community for over 10 years, hence she has a great understanding
 of the challenges affecting the community and solutions to most of these challenges.
